We love our pets. That’s a given.
We take them everywhere with us; to the mall (if it is pet friendly), to restaurants, on play dates and even to social events; I was recently at a braai where a friend brought their African Grey along so that she wouldn’t get lonely at home. The parrot, not the friend.

2. Eden on the Bay Mall, Big Bay, Bloubergstrand
This Mediterranean-style open-air mall is on the Bloubergstrand strip, and is renowned for its pet-friendly approach, regularly playing host to beach pet walks, adopt-a-pet days and charity events.
Endless white beaches aside, it has a lovely sunny grass area on the beachfront for picnics and relaxing, with a great selection of restaurants and boutique shops to keep us busy.
Plus, Bergzicht Animal Hospital is the vet on site, so you can get vaccinations, grooming and check-ups done while listening to live jazz over coffee or stocking up on groceries while you wait.

3. Greenpoint Urban Park
We love this park.
It’s great for humans (for exercise and relaxation) and is fantastic for pets, offering 10.5 hectares of adventure, walks, fun and play.
